Healthy Focus Seminar: Lung Cancer Update

Lung cancer affects smokers and non-smokers alike, and each year kills 160,000 people in this country- more than breast, colon, and prostate cancer combined.

Hear from Dr. Jennifer Garst, a member of Duke Raleigh Cancer Center’s multidisciplinary lung cancer team, about new screening guidelines for people at risk for lung cancer; new methods to detect lung cancer; new targeted therapies; new surgical procedures that are less invasive and result in quicker recovery; and the many different types of lung cancer and new treatment options tailored for each patient.
