Community Health Screening Day

The Community Health Screening Day is a partnership between Duke Raleigh Hospital, WakeMed and Rex Healthcare designed to impact the greatest health needs in our community and to reach uninsured adults with limited access to health care.

The event is free for people 18 and older and will include the following:

  • Blood pressure, stroke, cholesterol, glucose, balance and body mass index screenings
  • “Ask the Experts” including dietitians and other providers offering education and resource information
  • Community agencies providing educational tools and details about healthcare resources in Raleigh
  • Free immunizations

No pre-registration is necessary.  Screenings will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and are all non-fasting.

Date: Wednesday, May 9

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Location: NC State Fairgrounds Exposition Center

Parking: Ample parking will be available at the NC State Fairgrounds surrounding the Exposition Center.
