Tea for the Soul Gives Team Members Time to Relax, Bond

Duke Raleigh Hospital’s Chaplain Services and Education, and Work Culture teams spent two weeks visiting each unit in the hospital and several off-campus locations with a program called Tea for the Soul. The heart-warming tea and treats give teams a chance to take a moment to relax and chat about life.

“It gives us an opportunity to thank people, and connect with them and find out how work is going and how life is going,” said Rev. Adrian Dixon, Director of Chaplain Services & Education at Duke Raleigh Hospital. “It’s also a chance to look for opportunities to better support our staff.”

Tea for the Soul is just one of many ways Duke Raleigh Hospital works to improve wellness among team members, including Candygrams, Culture Cards, floor mascots, and Duke University Health System’s Live for Life programs.
