There’s a new way to recognize the Duke Raleigh Hospital Guild. Thirty-five members will now be in purple jackets when they volunteer in the hospital, including the Guilded Lily Gift Shop.
About the Duke Raleigh Hospital Guild
The Duke Raleigh Hospital Guild was chartered in 2005 to support and enhance the care of the hospital’s patients, their loved ones, and our surrounding community. The group of volunteer members are dedicated to supporting Duke Raleigh’s mission and vision across several projects and initiatives, including patient support, community outreach, and education.
The Duke Raleigh Hospital Guild has provided leadership on a wide range of projects for Duke Raleigh Hospital, including Art in the Gardens, the Guilded Lily Gift Shop, and the Duke Raleigh Hospital Gardens.
To Join the Guild
Meetings are the first Monday of the month, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The group provides lunch and hosts a variety of special guest speakers throughout the year. Speakers include various leaders and experts from the community to discuss relevant topics and issues, typically related to health and the community.The $40 annual membership fee helps support programs and initiatives throughout the year.
