Partnership Helps Provide COVID-19 Vaccines to the LatinX Community

As part of our commitment to getting vaccine to those most impacted by COVID-19, volunteers from Duke Raleigh Hospital and other Duke Health locations partnered with the community for a “pop-up” COVID-19 vaccine clinic.

On Saturday, Duke Health joined other community partners including Latino Community Credit Union, La Semilla, El Centro Hispano, Greenlight, and Southeastern Healthcare through the LATIN-19 initiative to create a vaccine clinic geared toward the Latinx community. The event was held at the Latino Community Credit Union in Raleigh, and close to 500 community members eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines through state groups 1,2, and 3 were vaccinated during the event.
